About the Client:
Create-A-Card, Inc. is a full color photographic printer specializing in marketing tools for the transportation industry.
Challenge:
Create-A-Card wanted to offer its products online to its clientele. The order process needed to be simple and streamlined.
Solution:
We worked closely with the owner of Create-A-Card to find out exactly what he wanted the order process to include. Each product has different options and pricing. So, we decided that a relational database was the way to go. We built the database and made sure it could expand to allow for growth of the business.
The order system takes the visitor through 5 easy steps and records all the information. Then an email is sent to the purchaser and the site owner showing the order details. The customer has the option of creating an account that will remember him for a return shopping trip.
This feature also allows the site owner to send an email to all previous customers in the database with the click of a button.
