About the Client:
Create-A-Card, Inc. is a full color photographic printer specializing in marketing tools for the transportation industry.
Challenge:
Create-A-Card, Inc. expressed a desire for a content management system so that they could update their catalog of stock images and the products they offer on the web site.
Solution:
We designed a relational database to hold the stock images, and the details of products offered including pricing. The information is then displayed dynamically on the web site on the stock image display pages and the custom ordering system.
The custom CMS we built has the functionality of inputting new images for immediate display online and also allows them to input a new product, update any existing products, set a product to show on the web or be removed from the web but kept in the database, or delete a product completely.
We also included an area that allows the owner of Create-A-Card to send emails to all his customers with the click of a button.
