About the Client:
Create-A-Card, Inc. is a full color photographic printer specializing in marketing tools for the transportation industry.
Challenge:
Create-A-Card, Inc. has an in-house graphics department that designed a new feel for the site. However, they needed someone that could implement the design for the web using best practices and technologies.
Solution:
Create-A-Card, Inc. has been a client of ours for over 6 years. They first came to us with a brochure site showcasing their stock images. We took the site to the next level and instituted an ordering process.
That remained for the next 5 years. Moving into 2006 the printing industry was changing and Create-A-Card needed a face lift. Owner Arthur Messina brought us a new design and asked us to code the template to build the pages.
Not only did we build the template for the site, we custom coded a new order process that simplified the purchasers experience and captures the customer details so that a return shopping trip is easy.
In addition, we created a database to hold the stock images, and the products that he offers his clientele.
The custom CMS we built allows Arthur or his staff to input new images for immediate display online and also allows them to input a new product, change and existing products or delete a product.
